Overview: The New England Aquarium is one of Boston’s major attractions, bringing in 1.3M visitors/year. NEAq approached Untravel to develop a guide system that would tell the story of the penguins, harbor seals, and other unique aquatic life on its website, rental devices, and visitor phones and iPods. Untravel conducted detailed user studies of Aquarium visitors, recording interaction with exhibits, staff, and other visitors to determine the best platform to deliver on. The production team then dove into telling the inspiring and eye-opening story of a world of aquatic research and conservation connected to the exhibits.
